Racing Action for Father’s Day

We’d like to be the first to wish the Dad’s out there a very Happy Father’s Day weekend! Round 4 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Series will take place on Saturday and the Red Bull High Point National will be held at the famous racetrack that shares the same name in Mt. Morris, PA. The Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha Motorsport Team will be on hand and will send two riders to the track again during Saturday’s action.

Hayden Mellross is coming off a three week layoff following a crash at Hangtown. It’s always a challenge to get back in the saddle and perform at a high level, but the time away from the track has made Mellross hungry to show what he can do. Teammate Brandon Hartranft will also be running in the 250 Class. His results have been pretty consistent so far during the 2018 outdoor season, and despite some mechanical problems, he just keeps his head down and charging forward. The team utilized the recent weekend off to regroup and get ready for the summer stretch.

The Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series is back in action this weekend as Round 4 will be taking place at the Jolly Mine facility in Wellston, OH. The KR4 Arrive-N-Ride Husqvarna Racing Team will be there in full force with both a privateer effort and a full stable of Pro riders. They will be representing Moose Racing with Tayla Jones, Cory Buttrick, Liam Draper and Layne Michael who is currently 4th overall in the championship chase. Team Beta USA will also be on hand and will send Jordan Ashburn to the track. Ashburn is sitting just out of the top five in 6th for the year.

Be sure to stay tuned to for the latest race updates, gear and accessories. You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the most up-to-date news from Moose Racing.

In keeping with the Wheel theme from last week’s post, this week we are proud to feature our new MX1 Stainless Steel Spokes. These strong spokes are made from T302H stainless steel for maximum tensile strength and they are polished to maintain their surface strength as well. They are interchangeable with Moose Racing, and stock, rims and hubs, but you must use our MX1 Spoke Nipples which are sold separately.

The precision threads match perfectly with our nipple sets and we include all the necessary spokes to assemble one wheel. We have a full line-up of applications for all the major OEM’s and we cover a vast listing of year applications. If you are ready to take your racing effort to the next level, but want to keep your investment to a minimum, then please check them out here
