Racing Action is Back!

(Jarrod McClure)

After the Easter Holiday weekend break, most of the major race series are back in action this weekend and Moose Racing is proud to be in the mix.  Our factory support semi will be attending the FMF Steele Creek event in Morganton, NC where we will be showcasing our latest product line-up along with handing out free stickers and catalogs to all the race fans in attendance.

On the track it is looking to be a wet and muddy affair which can be the great equalizer and put riders on the podium that might not always get there.  We’ll have to see how it shakes out, but in the meantime we’ll have Adam McGill and Jarrod McClure going in the ATV Pro Class on Saturday.  The Women’s Class will feature the normal Moose Racing suspects including defending champ Tayla Jones and Brooke Cosner.  Sunday should see a great battle in the XC1 and XC2 Bike Classes with representation by the KR4 Arrive-N-Ride Husqvarna Team, the Coastal Racing stable and Team Beta.  If you are looking for names at the end of the action, keep your focus on Buttrick, Delong, Rauchenecker, Ashburn, Teagarden, Draper and Michael.

The AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series is starting to wind down and makes its annual stop at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, WA for Round 13.  This stadium is well known for loud crowds regardless of whether or not they are following their beloved Seahawks or the fastest motorcycle riders in the world.  The Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha Motorsport Team has had some setbacks this season because of injuries, but they are still charging hard and making sure they are putting their best effort forward.  Bradley Taft is still working his way through concussion protocol and will be replaced on the 250 by Dylan Merriam.  Alex Ray has fully recovered from an early-season wrist injury and is ready to make some noise on the 450.

With 2017 Arenacross Series Champion Gavin Faith out, the Babbitt’s Kawasaki Team will be pinning their hopes on Jacob Hayes.  Hayes has seen a ton of previous success and everyone is confident he is ready to take the reigns in Wichita, KS this Saturday night.

Be sure to stay tuned to for the latest race updates, gear and accessories.  You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the most up-to-date news from Moose Racing.

Fuel Petcock Rebuild Kits

Today’s fuels are certainly not the cleanest burning versions we have seen in the past and that is evident with all the fuel treatment chemicals that are on the market nowadays.  If you don’t take care of your bike’s fuel system, it can lead to more costly repairs down the line.  Sometimes you can be very diligent with regards to this and still have parts break down.

Our new Fuel Petcock Rebuild Kits can help by replacing vital parts in one of the most important parts of your fuel system.  Our kits include all the components to rebuild one fuel petcock and we have them available for a number of different OEM applications.  They include all necessary face screws, tank bolts, face gaskets, tank gaskets, diaphragms, o-rings, wave washers and other miscellaneous components.  We have good stock available on most part numbers and you can check them all out here
