To say that this past weekend’s Atlanta Supercross was a huge success would be an understatement. The Moose Racing semi was staged in a great location on vendor row and when the pits opened we were swamped with spectators. Not only did we run out of catalogs, but many fans hung around our area to watch all of the racing action on our TV monitors.
The National Enduro in Louisiana was cancelled due to high water conditions so many of our offroad racers made the trek to Atlanta to watch the Supercross. KR4 Husqvarna Racing’s Tayla Jones made the trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium so we took advantage of her presence. She joined eight-time National Enduro Champion Dick Burleson on the interview podium where Rob Buydos engaged the crowd. Check out the video on our Facebook page.
On the track we had some success as well. Brandon Hartranft piloted his 250 East Coast machine into the night program and was ready to battle in the Triple-Crown format. The Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha Motorsport rider put together a solid ride and ended the night in the 9th position overall. Teammate Bradley Taft filled in for the injured Alex Ray on the 450 bike. He rode hard, but missed the night program by two positions.
