Moose Racing Signs with Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha Factory Team

(Alex Ray)

The Moose Racing semi has one last trip to make in 2017 before it takes a break prior to the 2018 season.  We’ll be in Ontario, CA this weekend for the final round of the AMA Endurocross Series.  Moose Racing has been a presenting sponsor of the series since its inception and we are proud to be associated with one of the most exciting forms of racing anywhere.  We’ll be there to support our riders along with spending time with fans and giving out free catalogs and stickers.  Stop by and see us if you are in the area.

The big news of the week is our recent signing of the Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha Factory Team that will contest the AMA Supercross Series in 2018.  We are extremely excited to be working with an organization that has a proven record of success at the highest level.  The team will be fielding three riders who will compete in various classes throughout the season.  Their full rider bios will be up on our website very soon after they wrap up a photo shoot, but in the meantime we wanted to give you a chance to learn a little bit more about them.

Alex Ray – Alex Ray is the featured rider and will be contesting the entire series on a Yamaha 450.  This seven year Pro will be running the #91 plate with the fastest riders on the planet.  His favorite track is the Bean City MX facility in Atwood, TN and he spends his spare time training on road and mountain bikes.  While he has only been training with Moose Racing products for a short time, he has already expressed his love for our Roller Bag.

Bradley Taft – Bradley Taft will be aboard a Yamaha YZ250F for the West rounds of the series and will be sporting #53.  Although he’s only been a Pro rider for a short time, his career highlights include a 2015 450A title and 2016 250A title at Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Nationals.  Taft is a big fan of cycling, watching movies and hanging out with his friends when he isn’t on the track and he has already been impressed with the quality of his Moose Racing jerseys, pants and gloves.

Brandon Hartranft – Brandon Hartranft will be taking on the East rounds on another YZ250F.  2018 will be his first year racing professionally, but the #114 has plenty of past success on his resume.  He already loves his Moose Racing gear and is looking to put it to the test when those rounds begin.  He too likes to mountain bike in his spare time along with road biking and playing football for fun.  His favorite track is Freestone MX in Texas, but we’re confident he is going to settle into the Supercross tracks just as well.

All of these riders are very active on social media so we encourage all of our fans to follow them and wish them the best of luck in 2018.

Be sure to stay tuned to for the latest race updates, gear and accessories.  You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the most up-to-date news from Moose Racing.
