Round 1 of the Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series took place over the weekend at the Moto-Vated Sports Complex in Gaston, SC. Moose Racing is a proud sponsor of this series again this year and we were well represented in many classes. Jordan Ashburn turned in the best ride of the weekend for us and nabbed a podium spot in the process finishing 3rd overall in the Pro Class. KR4 Husqvarna Racing’s Jesper Borjesson just missed out on finishing in the top five and was 6th. Other riders who made the top 15 included Andrew Delong (12th) and Drew Higgins (13th). In the Women’s Class, it was KR4’s Tayla Jones taking her second win in as many tries so congratulations to her as well.
The AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series made a stop in the Lone Star State as Round 6 was held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Our factory semi was on hand in the pits where our staff was handing out free stickers and catalogs along with offering product help to the many fans in attendance. Unfortunately, marquee rider Phil Nicoletti crashed during press day and did some significant damage to his lower leg. It is unclear how long he will be out, but it certainly put a damper on his season just as he was getting up to speed.
